Cards
This
year we will be making a donation to the "Children
in Need" appeal rather than send cards. We like this
particular charity because all of the money raised goes to
the worthy causes with no deductions at all.
Cash
balances in your Portfolio.
From
time to time certain of your investments will pay a dividend
or will rebate some fees to you and this will appear as cash
on your portfolio. It is from this cash that the Transact
and Argyle portfolio charges will be debited. We will normally
maintain approximately 1% of a portfolio in cash so that
these charges can be met without disturbing your investments.
Where we see a surplus in the cash element of your portfolio
we will invest this in line with your current Asset allocation.
Website
The
reconstruction of our website is almost complete. You will
be able to see a detailed account of how we go about the
process of looking after your money. A separate bulletin
will tell you as soon as the new site is “live”.
The
Argyle Transact Wrap
We
are delighted to be able to tell you that we now have over
450 clients using our Wrap service with almost £40
million within their portfolios. The annual review process
is working well and we have now adjusted all of your portfolios
at least once to reflect not only your current attitude to
risk but also your personal investment objectives.
