How are we doing with your money?

Each year we do what is called "back testing" on the funds we use to make up client portfolios. This process gives us an average annual growth rate for all of the client portfolios we manage.

We are delighted to announce that for the year ending 31st, May, 2005 this average growth rate was 16.5%.

Your portfolio may have been in place for a longer or shorter time than the year we have used and market timing may mean that your own figures will differ slightly, but not by very much.

You will appreciate that there can be no guarantees of future performance but we remain confident that our investment process will continue to give you satisfactory results.

SIPP – Self Invested Personal Pensions

The benefits of having your pension arranged in a SIPP are being used by the media to publicise the changes in pension regulations which are coming in April 2006.

If you have your pension arranged through your Transact account then you already have your funds in a Self Invested Personal Pension Plan. Your SIPP gives you the flexibility to invest in a wide range of investments and you can control the risk levels of your fund through diversification amongst the various asset classes available or include any personal favourites you may have.

All contributions you make to your SIPP will qualify for income tax relief at your highest rate and the fund itself will grow free of any capital gains tax.

Please get in touch if you want to discuss the potential of your Self Invested Personal Pension in more detail.
